You may also want to check out the Bilstein 5100 shocks that can level the front a little over 2 inches at the max height setting. This way you have new shocks with longer travel and are a better option then the spacers. I ran spacers on my '04 and the '11 I had with no problems but on my '13 I went with the Bilsteins and find they are even better then the spacers. Just a thought!

I agree, you're absolutely right. Leveling kits aren't the best idea if you off road a lot.

You'll be good then. I only noticed mine once, and it was from hitting a hard bump in the road a little too fast and I heard a light "clunk" sound.I have gone over speed bumps, dirt roads at a reasonable speed etc and no issues.

Define offroading "a lot".

Default Ground Clearance and Larger Tires

If you find yourself in rough terrain frequently enough to justify a $1,000 - $2,000 suspension performance upgrade. I think this is the distinction some wanted to make as this is a thread in off-road. A leveling kit only increases ground clearance and clears for larger tires.

Level blocks do not reduce the suspension travel. They move the range of motion in relation to the truck frame.
