Leveling kits
Hey all I'm looking for some advice. I have a 04 fx4 crew cab. I want to level the truck out but some kits come with blocks and I've seen others with shackles. What would be the best way to go? I'm looking to put 33's on the truck so I'm also trying to figure out what height to go with. Thank for all and any info

If you are looking to just level the truck out, just go with either of these and you will be good...

Shackles and blocks are for the rear of the truck... If your looking to "level"...you don't need either of those...just some decent spacers for the front or new coil overs like Rancho quick lift or some billy 5100 leveling struts. Shackles and blocks will raise the rear end and defeat your Leveled look.

Level Kit Tire Fitment
You could fit 33's on stock, but this might be pushing it dependent on the wheels and tires you choose. Techrep is right, you only need front spacers to level and comfortably fit 33's. You can, however, level one of two ways. The first option to level, is to lift the front of your truck only, like these READYLift, Skyjacker. The second option, is to lift the front and rear of your truck in a ratio which lifts front more, like this Supreme Suspensions

This is in the off road section, so I will add this. Leveling kits aren't the best idea if you off road a lot. They reduce the travel distance of the suspension. For normal use on roads etc, you will never notice them though.

Thank you all for the advice. I'm going to go with 2 1/2 inch spacers in the front. I have 18's on my truck and I'm staying with that size when it's comes time for new rims.
