Default Tire Size

Hey guys new to the forum just gonna get some of your opinion on tire sizes. 265/70/17 old cuffed up duratracs from previous owner current size. I put the 2.5 inch leveling kit on it and want bigger tires now. I was thinking 295/70/17. Do you think it will rub on that a/arm?

I can't speak for that year model but my 03 had 295's on it when I got it. I went to 315's and turned the torsion bars up a bit. Only thing mine rubs is the sway bar and its just barely touching at full lock. You should be perfectly fine with 295's.

Thats what I was thinking..only thing I was worried about was clearing that upper control arm. Ive done alot research and everyone was saying they cleared 35s
So 33s shouldnt be a problem.

I know plenty of people with 33's on those trucks now that I think about it and none of them have any issues at all.
