When I had my 01 Explorer 4x4, i got stuck in about 20inches of fresh powder and had to be yanked out by a Dodge as well(just glad it wasn't a chevy..). Street tires are no good for snow, and you think I would have learned.. I hit ice on my way back from a trip to the mountains in my f150 and spun down a divider into oncoming traffic.. For now I am officially done with snow.
Basically everyone gets stuck, just make sure its something worth getting stuck.
