I thought you guys might like this.
Moose hunting this past weekend and we had intentions of getting up to a newer cut. Unfortunately there was a lot more snow an hour north of us and we didn't even make it half way before we had to turn around and head back to the highway.
On the way in the radio sparks up and its the my buddies and his dad in a Chevy behind me (dad is a hardcore Chevy man and GM mechanic all his life) asking if my Ford will be okay trudging through the snow. I told him he was free to go around me a break trail instead of me, to which they declined.
Our reason for turning around is that same group of guys in the Chevy got stuck and I had to pull them out, them yank them around to head the other direction. With them in front of me now heading back out they got stuck and went off the road. I managed to drive around them, off the trail on the other side and uphill to give him a pull. They were insistent that I pull the down the hill so they could take another run at it but I hooked up and towed them out and up to the top, much to their chagrin.
Note it is steeper and deeper than it appears in this picture. The second one is through my mirror as I brought them up the hill, tail between their legs, in tow by the Ford they chirped on the way in

Some camping a bit of unexpected wheeling in Indiana. I was at street pressure and had to break out the Maxsa boards to get out of that rut. Sloppy mess near Lake Monroe.

Thanks. I still have bumpers, 4.10 gears w/lockers, rock sliders, high cap diff and trans pans, long tubes, winch, lights, and cai to go. It did exceptionally well on trails targeted for jeeps and the like. Search Outdoors in the Smokies on YouTube and you will see the trails. Steep, tight, and narrow. I kept to the "easy" trails, and they were nothing to scoff at. It was a blast. I am also thinking about disconnecting the sway bar.
