First off-road experience in this truck happened in early spring..never thought to post the pics! Im in the red FX4, my bro is in the Grey FX4, my bros friend in the Blue F150, and my buddy in the custom Blazer..

I never got stuck, while my brother got in pretty deep following me through some soft mud/grass area! I love wheeling, have been for years and plan to make this truck a little bit better of one..

Pulled off into the median down Highway 6 Sunday night to help some people that decided to turn around in it and got stuck. Someone had just stopped in a 4-runner by the time I got over there. Well I waited around to make sure they got out, and in the process of me getting to where I was ready to leave got myself stuck for the first time ever... My tires got caked up with clay so I got pulled out by a 4-Runner... On the bright side, it was a fairly new one and was loaded out nicely. Didn't get any pictures of me stuck because it was dark, but here's the aftermath.

Looked like a good time. Wish there was some place like that I could go to.

NC has tons of places like that... we planned on going to Gulches but it was closed during the week. Ended up in TN @ Windrock

I must not be finding them then. The only place I've heard of anywhere near me is unwhari (not sure if I spelled it right or not). That and I won't go 4X by myself either. Its harder than I thought it would be out here to find somebody to off road with. I must not be running in the right groups I guess.

Uwharrie is the only public 4x4 trail left in the state. It's fun for a day or so. Tellico got shut down a few years ago.

Andy that's the problem. I want/need to keep it legal wherever I go. I already got a ticket for illegal off roading for trying to help a friend out. I can't afford to pay fines all the time. That and it gives off roaders a bad name/reputation.

3 off the top of my head... URE, Gulches, Flats. You will need a day pass for most anymore... and they have rated trails. Stick to the easier ones if you're going solo. I have been to URE a bunch of times in my previous truck. They have flavors of trails for everyone. From DD's on stock tires to full blown buggies.
