I have personally soaked my motor while cleaning it and no ill side effects. Others though swear if you wet em their done for.

Well usually our F150 86 4x4 does the offroading because it doesn't get stuck but here is a few pics of us out and about with it.

and what has replaced our offroading part of our jobs: 84 Ford Bronco 2 4x4 manual tranny it is ugly but it does great offroading and gets the assesing part of our job done great.
