2021 F-150 Lifting Help
Hello!
Lifted 2nd Gen Toyota Sequoia owner who now has a 2021 F-150 XLT with the 5L Coyote. Been on the forums for hours trying to figure out my lift for the 150 and was hoping some of you fine gentleman could help me. My goal is to take my almost new 35x12.5 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's and put them on my stock F150. I hit gnarly Forest Service Road in the Pacific Northwest frequently consisting of a lot of mud and clearance requirements. I also tow a 7k lbs travel trailer a lot. I want to lift the front to fit my 35's (and minimize/eliminate) trimming, while also lifting the rear to reduce, but not eliminate my rake. Right now I'm sitting with 2.5" rake and I'd like to take that down to 1.5". Ideally, a 3" front/ 2" rear lift seems optimal. This truck was given to me from work (not a lease) and will have it till end of life but I don't own it so I want to keep the costs down. I've seen the following options, could you guys let me know what you think the best lift is based on my requirements?
1. ReadyLift 69-21350 | SST Lift Kit 3/5" Front/1.25" Rear.
Ready Lift 3.5/1.25
I'm getting conflicting information with some sites selling this SKU as a 2.5" rear block, shown here:
3.5/2.5
2. Rough Country 3" Lift (Cannot find the rear lift of the blocks)
Rough Country Options
Several options here, cheapest being strut spacers and rear blocks with N3 Shocks. Then the price goes up from there the more you add on. *Site says only fits up to 34" tires?
There is also a warning which not sure if it applies?
Spacer kit '41430' does NOT fit on trucks with FX4, Snow Prep, and other off-road packages that modify front strut assemblies will likely measure over 22in and will not work with this kit.
3. BDS BDS1583H 4" Front/3"Rear Blocks with NX2 Nitro rear shocks or Fox 2.0
BDS 4.0/3.0
I hear BDS is good but it's also very expensive.
What do you guys think of these options and are there others you would recommend to get on 35's and reduce rake by 1"?
Also, I'm getting conflicting information on rims offset. I have the stock 64R's which are 18x8.5 +44. My tires say optimal is 10" with a range of 8.5"-11" but I hear it's not a good idea to fit on the extremes of the rim range so I may have to buy rims. With whatever option I go with for a lift, what offset is best to minimize rubbing on 35x12.5?
That's a lot of info and I really appreciate any advice!
Cheers.
