Been exploring the UP for some time and got some good pictures. I also screwed up pretty good. Hit a rock going way too fast and bashed in my LCA mount.

Damn that's no good. Those mounts always looked pretty vulnerable to me and have been one of my concerns.

Most of the wheeling I have done is on posted full size orv trails that are on the Michigan DNR website. I hit the Freda grade route almost every weekend, but the lake linden route has been fun too. I go to school in Houghton so all these trails are 5-10 min away from campus

I was actually laughing about that myself. I bought that bumper specifically for the skidplate yet the one thing it leaves unprotected is what I hit a rock with.
Good news was it only was $100 to get it fixed at the local collision shop.

I know some of the raptor companies make weld on reinforcement plates for the lca mounts. I just need to give them a call to see if they will work with my truck

Hmmm...reinforcement plates might be the way to go even if they have to be custom made. That's no big deal.

I bought the RCI skids but the lca mounts are still exposed. Which, I understand because the skids would need to be several inches lower to accommodate and that wouldn't be good.
