for those of you who posted and also listed your gears... please tell me how they work on the interstate. top speed, MPG, RPMs?
I'm looking at gearing but was only considering 4.10. I'm looking at 35-37 inch tires, NO bigger than 37. will 4.10 be enough or should I consider lower, and will I kick myself for going too low? I do drive the interstate quite a bit.

i have a 4x4 and have been looking at gears lately... i was told at a local shop that with 35's i should go with 4.56 gears (i'am an interstate driver too), but i wanted 4.88's and i was really pushed into getting 4.56's because i will not like the gas mileage that 88's will give me

the differance between 4.56 and 4.88s is very minimal. If you wanted the 88s thats what I would have gotten then.
being that i still haven't re-geared i will more than likely do 88's

and about the gearing issue:
56s will put it back to almost exactly stock. i personally would stick with 56 unless you plan on going to a bigger tire in the future, but with IFS that is unlikely unless youve got rubber band banks

I have 35's and regeared to 4.56's in my truck. Honestly I think with 35's 4.56's is what you want, if you go with the 37's then go with the 88's. As far as RPM's I am pretty much back to what I was pushing when the truck was fully stock.
