are k&n air filters or any aftermarket air filters worth buying? most arent cheap and i want to no if you really notice a difference in hp or mpg?

i installed a k&n air intake for mine that i found on ebay for 215 bucks. you can hear the difference and it added 15 hp. im not sure about the fuel economy because i programmed it at the same time (it did go up though)

i couldn't really tell a difference with my drop in K&N, it may have increased power but not noticeably

I picked up just the K&N filter at AutoZone for about $45 one day to replace my stock filter which was pretty dirty. After slipping the K&N Filter in I felt a little better throttle reponse but that was about it. As far as worth the price that's up to you.

its a little better mpgs but not too noticeable and better throttle response
