Going to have some spare cash in about a month, which is why I've been on here asking all these questions lol. Definitely getting new tires, I'm thinking Nitto Tera Grapplers, as I'm just an occasional offroader.

I'm on the fence with upgrading my axle ratio and changing from my open diff to a LSD. MY local offroad store told me they can change my 3.31 open diff to a 3.73 LSD for about $1,100. Still need to decide if its worth it to me, because im just an occasional offroader, and dont do anything crazy....I drive around the huge mud hole all you 4x4 drivers are plowing through

Yeah. I've got manual locking hubs upfront. If I really needed to take a turn I could just pop it outta 4x4 and put it right back in. Won't hurt the hubs or nothing just running down the road for a little. I'm pretty sure my LockRight owners manual says to never run the 4wd on dry pavement. Not sure who would even do that anyway.

Yea but I'm pretty sure even when he was in 2wd with the hubs locked in the truck still wouldn't turn because the front tires are locked together and just push through turns. Im not tAlking about dry pavement. He'd always just unlock one hub to help it turn. Just tryin to help ya out that's all.

I see what your saying. Hopefully that wont be the case. But I wont know till I get my tranny and transfer case in. Still got the 2wd tranny in for now. Just looking for the time to do the job. Its hard to break down and start working on it in this heat especially when the truck is driving. Lol

Yeah hell with the 3:31. If youve got the money for that gear swap id do it. The 3:31 open is deff not at home offroad or with oversize tires
