Anyways. I put I lunchbox locker on my 88, its a PowerTrax LockRight. Not too bad on road for a full time locker, but holy crap, off road is such a bigger difference. The truck is actually 2 - wheel - drive now. Lol. Its like you just grip up so good, its weird. But once I get wrapped up with my 4x4 swap I shouldn't have any problems, cause there's a locker up front too :p

Good thing is, I only paid $300 for the front diff and suspension, tranny, and transfercase, and the rear end all together. Then the guy came back to me and told me he found some paperwork on the axles in the bronco I pulled them out of on his junkyard. Over $700 billed on the axles alone. So I'll enjoy the lockers while they work. Haha.

I know what I'm talking about I've owned both !
Have been stuck once though, but i had no lift or level, 235/35R16 worn out bfg long trail street tires, in a clay pit with deep enough water to cover up my fender wells and leak in the cab. Needless to say it was stuck realllll good haha

Lol I remember back when I was in highschool I had my 2wd with a 4x4 atv on the back and I was breaking trail through snow and a 4x4 chevy could barely follow me... He was pissed lol
