I never use mine. It's broke, and I don't plan on fixing it either because it doesn't do much of anything unless I'm in low range.

But when it worked, I used it when the rear tires slipped or lost traction in wet grass or icy roads. Anything other than that I just punch it in 2wd.

i use mine whenever im about to hit a mud hole that i know is pretty deep or just on wet yards so i don't tear up the grass in 2wd.

i use mine everytime i go to the deer lease and check on feeders and my stands sometime i take the four wheeler but most of the time i take my truck and give the entire four-wheel drive system a full work out

I lock my hubs in right before my 4-wheeling adventure. I don't lock it in 4x4 untill I get completely stuck in 2wd though.

I use my 4WD everyday. I have a landscaping business and pull a trailer around. At the end of the day, I have to dump that trailer that is full of anything from trees to dirt. I have a deep pit that I back my dump trailer down. The weight of the trailer will drag me backwards down into the hole. 4WD is the only way to get out of it so I have to use it everyday. Never a problem, works everytime!

As long as you go with someone that does have a 4x4 and bring a tow rope, so you don't end up walking, you should be just fine. I use mine for fun, but not untill I can't go anymore in 2wd, but I try to get stuck. There is not a lot of places to go around here, and the places I can go, I can't possibly get stuck...... I've tried...lol

Hardly ever use it, unless I am going to climb teh levee here or go to the beach and hit the trails behind the dunes...which happens very rarely. Only when I need to use 4WD I lock it in. 1/per month on average.
