Default How to with links

I just got a 07 f150 2wd lariat I'm trying to go for that prerunner look with a bit of functionality. I am willing to spend 5k on my truck so any tips on where to shop and how to determine it done would be appreciated.

I'd say get a midtravel kit..

https://camburg.com/shop/suspension/...mance-7-0-kit/

$3,500 with coilover. Install it yourself.

Spend the rest on deaver springs, save for a simple bedcage + bypasses down the road.

surprised Baja-Kits hasn't chimed in yet. This is JT's kinda thread.

They are worth a looksee, they have some great products, from what I have read.

I would have recommended Brenthel mid-travel kit (upper/lower w/ shock) but I didn't see it on their website anymore..

Cheapest route would be Raptor take-offs (1000-1500 for everything up front - UCAs, LCAs, brake lines, axle shafts, tie rods) - if you can find them - plus a deaver/alcon/national/wsi rear leaf pack, rear bump kit (2000), rear Raptor bypass shocks (500ish)

Plenty of guys have done the Raptor conversion on the 04-08's, just dig through the build threads.

A setup like the Camburg mentioned above is an affordable next step as is the Dirt King 2wd setup

I really appreciate all the suggestion and sorry about how long it took me to reply. I like the idea of the mid travel kit.

I was wondering what you guys would suggest for coil packs, should I get aftermarket or OEM?

Dang, how did I miss this thread!!

Give me a call, email or PM me!

Our kit includes our boxed upper and lower arms, grade 9 hardware, extended brake lines and tie rod ends.

Our kit utilizes a King 3.0 coilover with an option to run a 3.0 bypass!!

Here are some pictures of my personal truck...

How soon are you looking at doing this? Do you have a budget in mind?

Thanks

JT
