Default How to lift 2015 F150 only 1"-2"

I recently bought a 2015 F150 and I have since put on a leveling kit and the truck now sits completely level, no rake. I also put on 285/65/20 BF Goodrich all terrain (33.1" tall) tires and it looks great. But there isn't a whole lot of wheel well gap and wish it was just 1" or 2" taller.

I don't really want to spend a couple thousand dollars and buy/get installed a 3" suspension lift kit or spindle kit.

Are there any other alternatives? The only thing I can come up with is a body lift, but not sure if that is something me and a buddy could do in an afternoon ourselves?

Are there any other options besides the 3 I mentioned (suspension, spindle, body lift) to get an extra 1-2" of height?

So you want wheel well gap? Which leveling kit did you go with?

I just want it to look slightly more aggressive and a little more height/wheel gap. its not horrible as it is, but I just would like a little more. I do not remember the name of the leveling kit, rough country maybe? But I think it was a 2.5" or whatever the size was that makes the front level. I did not do anything to the back.

Body lift is likely the cheapest and easiest to install, I think if you go with the pucks from F150Lifts.com they are like $200 or maybe less. Something you and a buddy can install in your driveway.

There is a lot of hate for body lifts, they aren't the greatest way of achieving lift and you can find some horror stories about them if you search the webs, but a 1" BL shouldn't be a big deal, as long as you own up that its strictly for aesthetics lol

That is the exact website I was looking at, but I only saw 1" as the only option. Wasn't sure if there were other options like a 1.5" or 2"

I have a 2wd truck and all of this is strictly for looks. Here is a pic of my truck, excuse how dirty it is, it was raining my entire way to work this morning. Currently from the top of the tire to the wheel well, there is 6.5" of gap. Not sure what is normal or ideal, but I would just like the body lifted slightly more. its hard to invision what 1" is without seeing it, but that first "line" in the fender well is almost exactly 2". if the truck was lifted there, I think that might look good.

Yeah there are options in size, most go between 1" - 3" but Alex at F150Lifts knows his stuff. He only goes up to 1" because he doesn't feel like anything higher is smart.

I just called and spoke to Alex, nice guy. He recommended the 1" as the maximum to do for a body lift.

I was a little confused by your first post. A 285/65/20 tire is 34.6 inches tall.

If you don't need a tire that big and want a little extra room you could always just get a slightly smaller tire. Much cheaper than all that extra suspension work.

Oops. I meant 34.1" not 33.1". That's what online calculator told me at least.

I don't really want to go smaller tire because then I will lose about an inch of height. I want both more wheel gap and a little higher.
