no, i said take it off. because it would close the gap, and look better. HE decided to start "bashing" my trucks. and im not mad that people dont like lowered trucks, im dissapointed that there are so many ignorant people on here that cant see things from someone elses point of view. ive had a body lift, and personally HATED it. took it off the first week. i was giving friendly advice when he decided to start talking about other peoples trucks.

I don't like body lifts because of the problems I have dealt with and other problems I know occur because of them. As far as lowering truck I will not lower mine as it is a 4X4 and would look in my opinion real stupid, if I had a 2X or a sport truck I would lower it reasonably. I do not agree with those who drop their truck to a point that they drag going across sidewalk ramps into parking lots, but to each their own.

Must be that time of the month. But anyway, I have never had any issues with my bodylift as far as overheating, the body falling off or it catchin on fire. I only put a 3" body lift on and didnt have to stretch any wires or any hoses or any brake lines and the kit came with a radiator shroud lowering kit. I mean if you want to crawl ****in boulders then your right this is probably not the right lift for it, then again this isnt the right truck for that either.

Mid 8's? what is that an 1/8th mile. There is no way that truck in that pic will do that in a quarter mile.

I have friends with 1 ton diesel 4X4's that would eat that little 150 for lunch in the quarter mile and when you blew your 302 trying to keep up they will give ya a tow home. Their nice people..... No offence it does look like a nice truck.

yes, 1/8th mile. im not f*cking superman.

and i know guys with quick diesels too, but thats not even in the same bracket. just a programmer will put 250 into low 9s in the 1/8th. hell, one of the guys in town owns one of the quickest diesels in the southeast. he runs in 4 wheel drive off the line just to catch traction.

most people with 4x4 diesels that run leave the line in 4wd and hell a 5.4 will run in the 9's in the 1/8 assuming the driver has a instant reaction time with little modifications.

I assume when someone is quoting trap times it is 1/4 mile as that is all we run.

what do you mean "little modification"... a cold airintake and exhaust will not get a 5.4 into the 9s.

and the closest 1/4 mile track is ~4 hours away. sorry i do not meet your standards

i said if the driver had a perfect reation time meanning 0.00 sec an 5.4 with little mods would be in the 9's in the 1/8th mile. little mods cia, exhaust, and programer. i seen one run a 10.4922 in the 1/8th and the driver had a reaction time of 1.4926 if you subtract his reaction time from the 1/8th time its a 9.
