How to AVOID getting stuck?

My truck was spinning the front left drivers side tire and the rear passenger side tire in the sand.
As for a Limited Slip...when I was playing with 5.0 mustangs back in the day...I had an 8.8 Trak lock rear end with 4.10 gears...and I could annihilate both rear tires when I jumped on it.

Running 2 full lockers on the street would not be fun or recommended. I'm not sure if anyone makes a traction aid for the front differential on the Fords. I am more familiar with GM trucks than I am Fords and I know that no one makes any type of traction aid what so ever for the front differential of a 1/2 GM truck. I wish someone could tell me if they did or not.
...It has a LSD and you need to slightly depress the brake pedal or emergency brake to put some tension on it for it to engage.

I have NEVER needed to use my e-brake to 'engage' my limited slip. It seems like the earlier examples were also aimed towards cars. Either way, both of his tires should have been spinning in the sand.

I never said you were talking about running spools. Spools aren't lockers...they're spools. Running a selectable locker, such as the Ox-Locker, would be fine on the street. I was talking about running a regular locker such as a Detroit locker on the street wouldn't be recommended. Maybe you haven't ever had to use your e-brake to engage your limited slip. Depends on what type you have. Either way, the "limited slip" garbage is not nearly as good off road as the auto locker that GM offers. Again, I'm not here to praise GM or put down Fords, just simply giving credit where credit is due.
