Default hi lift jack

I'm new to real off roading and would like a Jack (my trusty bottle Jack ain't going to cut it) to rotate the tires on my truck and what not.

My question is this. Where is the best place to get a Jack from and had anyone bought the 48" and wished they got the 60" or vise versus?

tractor supply has them if you got one close to you. the 48 will do fine. be careful usin a hi lift for basic service like rotatin the tires and all that. they like to fall over when theres not a good wall of mud or a rut holdin your truck still. i used one puttin rear blocks in and had to tie the backend to the garage walls to keep it from fallin over

ya i agree with the last guy, there great to get a truck out of a sticky situation but i would try not to use it for maintenance, and if u do have everything secured

If you really want to use it for regular maint. I would get the rim hook attachment. It picks the truck up buy the wheel. If you try to use this on your bumper you will rip it off your truck. You would prob be better off with a hydr. jack for working in the driveway.

P.S got my 60" at Tractor supply. saved on shipping.

Thanks for the TSC tip. This is the first vehicle to tall for my old bottle Jack and thought this was the answer. I have seen a plate that is suppose to make it more stable and useable on soft ground.
