Default hey guys, im new to the off road lifting, always had lowered in past

My question is, ive just bought a 03 ford f150 crew cab. It has the leveling kit on it aalready. Im wanting to do a 3in body on it. But als0 do like a 3in lift in susupenion as well. I fig for the back i could use the 2in shackle with a 1in block, which would take care of the rear. I just dont know what i could use for the front. I was looking at the knuckles but wont fit under the factory 17s. What would u guys do? Any advice would be very helpful, thanks matt

2wd or 4x4? I agree with 4x4wolf. Get a legitimate lift.

Its 4x4. All ive really done is crank the torrison bar up to level it out. I found a kit on ebay, it says full 3 inch lift kit. It comes with the 1-3 torrison bar key lift for front an the rear has 3 inch blocks, and new shocks for front an rear. Im kimda straped for $$. I seen on here a couple of people said they had this kit. I was wondering how it turned out an how level the truck sat. Also when you put the blocks in do u leave the shoe horn they call in it as well? Im wanting to go with 35's an they say you can with this kit. Any help or id like to see sum pics if you have this kit installled so i could atleast get a look b4 id buy it. Thanks for any help guys

The 3 inch kit is the exact same as a torsion bar crank. The only reason to buy it would be if your t bars are sagging and your stock keys are already maxed out. If you can't get to 24.25 inches from the fender to the center of the hub then you could justify it. Check out the 35's with t bars cranked sticky in 97-03 section.

Shoe horn? Like the bump stop that's cast as part of the block? Almost all aftermarket blocks don't have one so you lose that feature. Just buy a block kit separately if that's what hours set on. An add a leaf would raise your rear end up and add some stiffness as well as allow you to keep your factory block. Get the longer one made by pro comp if you go that route.

Many people clear 35's with the stock keys and buying the eBay kit will just be a waste of money. If you want more height cheaply I'm afraid a body lift is your only option. Can be had for 200 all day.

Here's mine with t bars cranked to 24.25 and a 3 inch block out back. Only 32's but should give you an idea of the height.

Ill order it prob this week. As i just got out of the hospital today. Had a double lung transplant in dec an had sum rejection in my lungs. So it b a good week b4 back on my feet. Ill take sum pics along the way so keel up with the process. Love the site. Now with my more ****ty luck. My wife just tore up the left rear fender flare at the hospital parking garage. Bummer man! I feel your pain on the bad health, I just recently got back to wrenching on things myself. Hope you get back on your feet soon. Good luck!

Body lift will be a PITA to install but as long as you've got an impact and some buddies you'll be fine.

Stacking blocks is dangerous, no legit company or person who knew what they were talking about would tell you that

It was a company off ebay that actually told me that. I didn't think that was right! That's why I asked because it didn't sound right to me.
