Help getting a 4 inch lift 04 f150 2wd!
Alrighty guys this is my first post so bare with me. I have an 04 ford f150 2wd lariat with 2.5 pro comp leveling kit. I have a set of 20x12 with 33 that I would like to slap on But I would like to get a 4 inch lift kit first. I've researched and researched and just can't seem to find any company that makes a 4 inch lift for the 2wd just for 4x4. My question is how can I get a 4 inch lift on a 2wd 04 f150. Could I use a 4x4 lift? Would they fit? If not could I just use a 4 inch spindle and longer strut? Could I buy the bilstein 5100 series and throw them on with a leveling kit to get the 4 inches? Would that change the alignment over stress the truck? I want to lift it but don't want to give up ride quality and want to do it right the first time so I'm not replacing broken parts later. Im not much of a mechanic or know much about it all but am a huge car enthusiasts I am on some of a budget and would like to keep it within 1200 or so. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!

Yeah I'm just not a big fan of body lifts. My uncle had a body lift and i didn't like how noticeable the frame would be. I would like to lift the entire truck not just the body.

If you can find a two inch it shouldn't be bad and if you have running boards that helps hide the sides you also have the option of gap guards too. Not a fan of body lifts either but dosent look like you have allot of options unless dropping some serious coin.

Yeah Ive been at this for awhile a 6 inch is just too high for what I want and a leveling kit just isn't enough. I would really like to get something figured out

I don't go off roading either I just like the look. I'm trying use the body lift as my last resort. I'm just not a fan of them. I've had a couple people tell me that I could just order the 4 inch spindles and throw them or throw the belsteins 5100 with my leveling kit to give me the 4 inches all together. I'm just not too sure if that's safe to do or if it will over stress the truck. I want to get this done the right the first time so I'm not replacing broken parts later on.

Camburg makes a set up that has new spindles that offer 4" of lift right off the bat, it includes new upper arms and tie rods along with new brake lines. if you installed coilovers as well you could push it to 7" of lift (that is the claim) trouble is it runs $2000
It is 2wd spec though
