I'm going to suggest to you the KC Slimlites. I was in the same situation, wanted good lighting but was on a budget. These lights are amazingly bright and I only payed around $150.00 for them. I believe I ordered them off amazon.com. Just something else to look into. I would recommend them to anyone on a budget that wants good lighting.

Yea thats the problem i have with KC, not that they don't make a good light, but they're very proud of them haha. Now Hella makes some pretty pricey lights themselves, but overall IMO i like them better. Plus from what i've looked at Hella makes a ton more styles

hella does have a lot of styles. When it comes to price you get what you pay for. I had cheapos and they sucked. Never again will i buy cheapos

OK, if i can interject a question then. What about bulb replacement?
I bought a set of KC lights for a lower valence on an old ranger. they had a 23 yr warranty on the bulbs but you had to send them to Texas to have them repaired. and they burnt out in 4 months. Hellas you can just change the bulbs yourself! Do all KC's have bulbs like that or can you change them yourself? this has left a bad image of KC's for me.
