Hankook tires
#3
I have also been looking at the hankook atm, they have a size that will fit my factory 22s. Tread looks good and hankook has a decent rep. May be giving them a try here soon

I was severely let down by the DynaPro AT/M. My coworker had a set on his 02ish Z71. My (at the time) 05 STX was coming up on needing new shoes. I had previously bought a set of Destination AT's. I absolutely LOVED that tire. 3 of the 4 mounted with no weights needed and the 4th got a .25 on the inside. Ran them till they were bald! Anywho, back on topic...
My coworker had the Hankook's on his Z 265/70/17 I believe. Spoke highly of them and loved them as much as I loved my Firestones. I liked the aggressive tread pattern so I decided to make the swap. I put a level kit on my STX so I went with the 285/70/17. Spent $1100ish if I remember right. Got the truck back and it rode like a tank. They were 10 ply so I didn't expect a cadillac ride but damn, this was bad! Front tires balanced ok, but the back had 6-8 oz of weight on them. I handled it for about a week before I took it back. Shop and I thought the tires may have been out of round. We got 2 more and almost the same result. Rims were straight and I even had to replace one due to a pin hole in the center weld, so that was ruled out. I ended up doing some digging and found these tires are made in 2 different countries. China and Korea. The Korean tire was the preferred of the two. Look at my tires - Made in China. Look at my coworkers - Made in Korea. I'm left to assume the different sizes were made in different countries. Anywho, long story short. They rode like crap and I just learned to deal with it. Totalled the truck about 18 mos after buying. Definitely won't buy em again. They looked great on the truck is about the only good I can say.
Maybe you'll have better luck!

I have the 275/65/18 on my 2010 f150 and I absolutely love them. I have put about 5000 miles on them so far. These tires are very quiet and improved the ride/ cornering for me. I havent taken them offroad but have been through snow and ice. They hooked up really good for me, I didnt even need 4wd. I do have a limited slip so im sure that helped.

i run these in 304 45 22 now. couldnt be happier. they look great, balanced out well, are quiet at all speeds and very stable. i havent been offroading or towed with them yet but they are a far cry from the stock pirelli's that are factory. plus they are much cheaper than the comparable nitto terra grappler. so far i have nothing but positive things to say

Running the Dynapro ATM in 275/65/20 and I like them. Very quiet on the road. Havent been offroad with them yet, but will know soon.
My ride is a but rougher than factory, but Im also running Bilstein shocks. Its not bad, but rides a bit more like a truck. I prefer the thicker LT sidewalls for towing.
