for example, i went to 35's from my stock 29's, a 1.2068..... percent change, multiplied by my stock gear ratio of 3.55 gave me a number of 4.2844.....

since there is no such gear as a 4.28, so the options are 4.10 and 4.56. Having an overdrive trans, and occaisonally towing, i opted to go down (numerically up) to a 4.56. This put me at about 100-200 rpm's higher than stock while travelling 70 mph in overdrive, which in my opinion ain't bad. I'm pretty sure they do make a 4.88 for the IFS 8.8, i can't remeber which company it is though, but you wouldn't need that unless you had like 38's or bigger, which is too big for that axle anyways.
Yukon makes 4.88's for the 8.8 IFS and the 9.75 in the rear, but they are retarded expensive

but they do make 4.30's which seems like an ideal ratio for 35's if i ran 37's id go for 4.56's but 37's on my truck would make it look like a monster truck haha

you want a little extra gear to make up for the power loss of bigger tires, so 4.56s would be better then 4.30s imo.
