Default Gear swap

Hey guys I have a 2013 2wd f-150 5.0 with 3.55 gears and I really feel I'm missing out on off the line acceleration/towing capabilities. Has any one gone from a 3.55 to a 4.10 or 4.56? What did you notice, any likes/dislikes? Was it worth the swap? I could care less about mileage change. From what I've read so far going from 3.55 to 3.73 doesn't make a big enough difference is this true? Would love feedback!

I'd go to the 4.10 ratio. You'll notice the accelleration is much better from zero to 30 and the truck will just feel livelier.

I went to 4.88's because im running 37's and love it. I was going to go with 4.56's but i am going to be running paddles when we go to Glamis or anywhere sandy so i decided to go with 4.88's.

I actually have some 4.10's that i took out of the raptor axle, 45$ and they are yours.

with two overdrives in the 6 speed auto...seems 4.56's would be great for extra umph and towing grunt

Good point. I have an 05 and formulated my answer accordingly. I forgot about the double overdrive. The 4.56 would be a good choice for performance/towing and the loss of fuel economy would be pretty small. I'm thinking maybe a 10% hit on mpg. Driveability will be excellent.
