Is an Fx4 the truck for me?

Which engine are you wanting to go with? If a 3.7 (3.5NA for the 2015) will do everything you need then I would recommend the STX Sport 4x4. Pretty much a lower level of the FX4 with the same PTM bumpers. You won't have the electronics that the FX has, but it's close enough. If you want any chrome I'd say the XLT 4x4 with the power equipment group. All of these are SuperCrews that I'm talking about.

Go out and look. You may be able to find your fx4 cheaper than you think. I got mine fairly cheap. If your worried about the mileage stick with stock height and tire size and do cheaper mods that will provide better gas mileage.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I'm definitely getting a new Ford truck. The doctor told me I shouldn't be bending down into a car, so that settles it. I do like the style of the FX4, and the luxury of the Lariat. (I currently drive an Acura, so luxury-wise any truck is a big step down). My current plan is to wait until 2016, and then buy a used 2015 model, because they are just too darn expensive. I want the best fuel mileage because I drive an hour each way to work. The sweet spot for me is to find a fully equipped one for around $30k, and if I have to wait and get one with 50k miles on it then I will.

I picked up my used Fx4 with about 40k miles for $32k. It has most the luxury stuff like leather heated seats, back up camera etc, just doesn't have the My touch, which is fine by me. But, you may be waiting until after 2016 if you want a 2015 loaded at that price.

Hi people! I have a question, I am planning to buy the F-150 XLT 2015, with 4 x 4 and the Off Road Package (FX4). My question is if that shock absorbers are pretty good compared with another ones that I can buy apart. Additional if the Raptor wheels (315/70 R17), can fix on that car without any lifting, or Will I need to lift them to put that wheels?
