doesnt really seem like spending the dough is that big of a deal, and its a lot easier to spend mommy and daddies money than your own...DO IT! haha

don't mean to answer for Phumphrey, but i just can't stend people hating.. who cares where the money is coming from to do the conversion?? the point is that he has the money, wants to do a 4wd conversion and is asking for advise on the subject.. he hasn't asked if he should spend his parents money or his dogs money for all we care. so stop hating and be glad for those who are in good standing regarless of the case. i belive that if you whish good for others good will come to you aswell. try it..

There is nothing with a 2wd, if you really want a 4x4, trade it in and buy one. You could get quite abit for it, then you could probably get a 09 or so with that.

Converting to 4wd is no easy matter. My cousin did it 2 years back, he says he wish he just would have bought a 4x4. 3 trys, and 2 frames later he finnaly did it. He had to buy a donor truck just to get the parts he needed. Like i said, there is nothing wrong with a 2wd, you can pull anything you want, so what, you cant go offroad as good, but you can still do it. I had a 2wd for the longest, I only got stuck offroad once and that because I was stupid with it.
