Few Questions Regarding Leveling My FX4
So I'm adding bilsteins to my truck to level it out. After I want to put a set of wheels and tires.
Few questions:
What level do the Bils need to be on to fit 33x12.5 tires?
Best AT/MT tire on the market? Do a lot of highway, would like less noisy.
Anyone have pictures of 33x12.5 on the 2014 fx4 wheels? (Black and gun metal)
Is there a significant change in drive style with the Bils?
How much power can I expect to lose with 33's?
My Truck:

Ruby Red
Screw Cab

Hey Geaux
I might can help. I recently purchased a 2013 FX4, 18,000 miles, 5.0L, supercrew, and 6.5 foot bed. The guy I bought it from put new TOYO Open Country ATII tires on that were LT 295/70R18. These are 34" tall. He also put new Bilstein 5100's on all four corners and a 3" Ready Lift Blocks in the rear. I have pictures I'd be glad to send. Can you send me a PM with your email address? I don't know how to post here. I just drove them 2100 miles and like them very much. I did not think they made hardly any road noise, they handled very well at all speeds even up to 78mph, I did feel some power loss in the head winds and up mountain grades compared to my former 2WD trucks with 5.4L and smaller tires but I think that is to be expected. My gas mileage also suffered but I discussed this with my local tire dealer. I told him I expected better mileage compared to what I've always got with my other trucks. We looked at tire height with this tire compared to the P275/65R18 stock tire (32") and the Toyo is 2 inches higher, it weighs 20 lbs more, and it turns 41 less revolutions than the stock tire. All in all, he felt like my overall mileage for 2100 miles at 15.1mpg was very good. On the window sticker, the EPA estimated HWY is 19mpg. So over all, I am pleased. I've always said I don't buy trucks for the mileage and I don't, but I've always liked it when I got decent mileage. Hope that helps a little. Send me your email and pics will come.

You won't lose hardly any power or fuel mileage from 33's. That's only 1" taller than stock.
You will be ok with the Bilsteins at the second from top setting. That's approx. 1.5" of lift.
My only concern would be the 12.50 width on a stock rim. It's not ideal, but could work. You may have an issue with it rubbing the upper control arm. In which case you'd need spacers. But you should be able to find that answer in the tire/wheel sticky thread in the 09-14 section.
Here's a pic of a 1.5" level with 33x12.50, but with aftermarket 9" wide rims with +12 offset.
Here's more Bilstein threads that may help you:

I used Duplicolor Shadow paint to do those emblems. Turned out pretty cool! The more coats you do, the darker they get - so you can choose how dark to make them.
