Default F-150 "Off Road" package differences ?

I have a 2012 F-150 SC Lariat w/ ECO, and was wondering if there are any differences in suspension, shocks, etc. as my truck is labeled 4x4 Off Road on the back fender. On the build sheet it says "off road package, $695". I would think all 4x4's have skid plates, just wondering if there are any other differences. I also have to Max Tow package, and aside from the big mirrors, I'm not sure what that entails, besides the receiver hitch and mirrors. Heavy duty alternator, transmission cooler, etc ?

the 4x4 offroad is the same truck as the regular 4x4 with a few differences

the offroad pkg includes

skidplates(more like tin foil)

hill decent control

''off road'' tuned shocks but they have the same P/N as all other F150 rear shocks

"off road" trucks also come standard with the electronic locking differential.

MAX TOW includes the Ecoboost engine, and 3.73 axle ratio.

Yes, I have the electronic locking diff., and hill descent control. Funny that the shocks have the same part #, maybe they are "off road" tuned, maybe they aren't ?

I recall another guy stating that there are 8 different part numbers for rear shocks on these trucks.

I doubt they are all the same. They are so cheap to replace with offroad shocks though. Couple hundred bucks gets you fox 2.0's or rancho's.
