There was a piece of cloth that was in between the uniball and the outer casing and after about 250 miles it started coming out of the top side of the uniball then the next day it started coming out of the other side. if these would have had a dust cover they might have held up a little better

Then let me reiterate: the uniballs that Icon chooses to use. I trust those.

I was just correcting you that Majority of the industry uses FK Uniballs and that we don't make them.

And, I was just correcting you. And you seem to have a problem with that? And *I'm* the male appendage in this? Not exactly what one would expect from someone trying his best to convince people to do business with him...

Uniballs have a Teflon lining in them.

That's the eBay brand "Teflon" lining, not sure if it's actually Teflon but the uniball has to pivot on something inside the case. That's why they go bad, the Teflon lining wears out. I've seen one case of a FK uniball have its lining come out of the case but it's really unusual. That's why you know the uniballs that the eBay brand are junk cause the lining keeps coming out of them, that's not supposed to happen.

No, I'd say not. That's too bad. It's not the cost of the product (cheaper), but the time that will be invested in labor to replace it/them. Suspension is definitely one of those areas that demands one to "buy the best and cry once". I now know that I will never install any of these non-brand parts for a friend.
BTW, the Icons I run are packed with 2% Moly grease for extreme pressure areas. It's all I use for stuff like this. Heck, the can of Moly only cost about $1 more than a can of regular grease. And it coats the metal surfaces with molybdenum creating non-wear surfaces, which translates into a much longer life. Also, the Icons have dust caps available to keep the grease in and the crap out, further adding to longevity.
