Default Does a front sway bar reduce flex?

If one does a straight axle swap using leaf springs, would a sway bar reduce flex? How necessary are they for street driving?

Yes they do restrict flex a lot more than some realize. You don't need sway bars unless you’re towing a lot. If you do a SAS I would not worry about sway bars. Only notice you might see is high speed sharp turns you will feel top heavy.
