Default dana 60 front and rear

hey my buddy just got a smoking deal and bought a dana 60 front and rear axle, its with the old manual locking hubs. umm neways hes hinted that if i bought em off him he'd help me put em on my truck.

just wanderin wats so great about em besides how tough they are? looking for some1 to convince me lol

dana 60s are pretty much a brutally tough axle. They generally come with much stronger axle shafts too. However, if your really doing some offroading, chromoly shafts are great. I havent had much experience with them on fords, but ive put a number of them under jeeps.
