I was looking for the same thing an the bfg all terrains are absolutely awesome. They are a little on the higher end price wise but definitely worth it I think. I have put my truck through mud pits and not gotten stuck and they are just as great on wet pavement. I haven't noticed any difference from stock tires to the bfgs when it rains. Awesome tire. Highly recommend it

I ran BFG 285/75r16 on a '99 F250 and they were amazing, couldn't believe some of the stuff I went through with open diff's. Of course, you pay for that in fuel and NVH but otherwise they did fine on pavement. Not too loud, just a little rough.

Currently running the Cooper Discoverer AT3 on the F150 and they are more like a very aggressive highway tire; smooth and silent but lacking when it gets soft and wet. Pretty good in winter though!

Have you looked at the BGF A/T KO2? New release and haven't see many non-biased reviews but they looked nice in the showroom.

I had the opposite effect with my bfg at's in a 285/65/18. They were awesome in the mud but sucked in rain and snow. The front end would push/slide going around corners in the snow and on wet pavement even after rain if I had to take off without crawling it would kick me sideways on every left hand turn. On top of that they never balanced well I would always get a shake, replaced all the components in the front end, got an alignment and tires rebalanced and a week later the shake was back. Once I got the coopers there is no shake. My gf's dad also had the same issues with his on his Silverado.

I just put a set of Cooper Discoverer HT3's on my F150 and so far love their performance. Smooth ride also
