Default Chevy junk haha

My buddy thought it'd be funny to back his truck down in some mud we had a mini excavator stuck in. Well the ford came to the rescue. Even bent one if his tow hooks!

My cousin is a Chevy guy and he refuses to let a Ford pull him out haha. He looks pretty desperate though

That does look pretty stuck. I know that some aren't fans of our closed tow hooks but they are very strong

That chevy had closed hooks too. But the fords are bigger. He was actually driving back and forth through it then thought he'd just park it in there and after sitting in the mud for an hour he was very stuck lol

Most modern tow hooks on trucks aren't even rated for the weight of the vehicle when being used to pull. Some are only rated for half or three-quarters of the vehicles weight.

I don't know man the hooks on the front of mine have pulled and been pulled on pretty hard ( a lot harder then what it took to bend those hooks ) and my hooks are still straight

Nothing to do with the truck, thats a nice truck.
It's the inept driver behind the wheel that should be mentioned in the thread title.
Back into mud hole that stuck excavator ? lol
