Default cam question

Have a 96 f150 5.8. I done did a gt40p head swap and upgraded gears. I'm looking a for a torque cam anyone got a good one in mind?

I'm looking into doing a cam in my 5.8 also. But how do U like the gp40 heads your using? I was thinking about using them. also what gears did u go with?

I like the heads they flow better. And with just up grading the heads you can tell the power differnce but you have to get the special headers for the gt40p heads. I had 308lsd but I put in 355lsd in there it helped out a bit too.

Oo nvm. I just got hedman headers for my truck and I'm hoping there's other heads I can use wit them. And my truck came stock with the 3.55 LSD but I swaped in 4.56s and a LSD in the front too

LSD in the front?? Any time the hubs are engaged, whether its in 4wd or not, you're going to have steering issues (as in lack of steering ) whenever you're in snow, mud, ice etc. Any time the traction is low enough that the LSD can do its job and keep both wheels turning the same speed, your steering is going to become much less effective. If you're going to do anything in the front it should be a locker, which is completely locked when you need max. traction and completely open when you need to steer, and controlled by a switch on the dash.
