Default blocks Vs. add-a-leafs

which is better in terms of, handleing, hauling, overall performance...etc..???? im lookin at up to 2" of lift in the back with either one. I have no experience with either one.

i would go with aal's it will give youre leaf pack an extraleaf which will make it stiffer therefore you will be able to haul alittle more as far as handling the ride will be alitle stiffer also nothing crazy but you can tell they are on there lol!!
i really radther not put larger blocks if i dont have to but it is an option but the bigger you go with blocks the better chance for axle roll haha and ive seen it happen granted im sure you wont be going crazy with offroading!!

supposedly the blocks will not change the load or the ride at all, just the height. AAL will give you an extra couple hundred pounds of hauling but will also make the ride stiffer...So its kind of a swap, do you want to keep the factory ride? Or do you want to be able to haul those extra couple hundred pounds...oh and I think the AAL is more complicated to install, dont quote me on that, but im pretty sure it is. Im not nocking one or the other, just want to give you a straight forward opinion. (i wouldnt mind having either)

Bang for the buck is true, more height, more hauling capacity, question he has to answer is, does he need the hauling capacity and is it worth sacrificing ride... I really dont know which i would get, i have really looked into an AAL though...that was before i knew about blocks.

Im likein the "being able to haul more" choice. Ive seen many truck with the blocks and it looks....risky? as im sure its safe. but having the full leafs on there would look cleaner and functional. i think i can do with a stiffer ride...it is a truck.. whats a good company that makes leafs?

Look at the 4x4 blocks that come with the same truck as yours but in 4x4 configuration. They will add about 2 inches, are solid enough and they are made for the truck. Don't forget longer U bolts.
