Default Blocking the open wheel space on lifted trucks

Hi guys,

Maybe I shouldn't worry but I have a small 2 inch lift with some 34's on my truck and there is quite an open space between my engine bay and my tires. Now mud and water etc can come through and coat my engine bay pretty bad.

Should I just get some of that heat resistant rubber and retro fit something to cover the gap?

Thoughts?

Might try getting some gap guards that they sell for people with body lifts
