Default Take a look at Pro Comp Pro runners

I ordered bilstiens but they were back ordered so I went with the pro comp pro runner coil over which leveled it out even , the ride is great . And are supposedly made at the bilstien factory under pro comp specs ... They are in stock at most stores that carry pro comp ..

I believe Monroe makes the pro comps.

You could be right & if so , someone needs to let the guys at 4wd parts warehouse know so people like myself don't give out wrong info .....
That said , who ever makes them they are still darn good shocks so far .... I had procomp shocks on my 02 and they worked great ...

We will be adding the Pro Comp ProRunner shocks to our website for anyone that is interested. Good to hear that you liked them. Just adds another option for everyone.

I've had the 5100's on for about a year now and love them but I'm really excited to try the coil overs.

The nice thing about the F150 coils is that they are eibachs spring which are great aftermarket springs and they are adjustable on the truck. With the 5100's if you're not satisfied with level you have to take them completely back apart and redo it whereas you just need to lift front end and use special wrench to dial in level with F150 coils.

All parts are machined aluminum and are rebuildable, you can switch out the 5100's and rebuild with new ones. I also believe the springs are longer and will give a little nicer ride compared to stock springs with 5100's on highest level.

I will do a write up once I get them on, they are due to arrive this Friday.

Also, there is the fact that the springs will be powder coated red! Lol
Sub'd so I can hear this review. I'm about to pull the trigger on 5100s but now I'm considering upgrading to the coilovers from f150lifts with the 5100s. I've heard enough great things about Bilstein to not worry about going with them, but would still love to hear what you think about your coilover set-up once you get them installed and "broken in"

I suspect Monroe makes the twin tube Pro Comps and Bilstein makes the monotube pro Comps.
