I just bought a set of BFG KM2 Mud Terrains. I have never had a set of mud terrains before so I can't compare them to anything, but after reading hundreds of posts about Mud Terrains, the BFG's kept popping up as a recommendation and so I went with them. WOW!!! These tires are incredible, compared to stock tires of course. My folks own 25 acres, 18 of which are being excavated by various constuction companies and so there are a lot of hills, obstacles, standing water, mud, boggy/swampy areas and I could not get stuck! I have an 06 5.4 XLT, extended cab. Plus I have gathered that these tires last a good while, but I will let you all know as the miles progress. The tires are 285/70 R17s. I was gonna go bigger, but I got these at a good price, plus I didn't have to get a wider rim to accomodate a larger tire and these are practically 33 inch tires anyway. I also put on my 2.5" Daystar Leveling Kit and the truck just looks so much better now. Pictures coming soon.
