Default Best shocks for mudding?

I'm getting a RCX 6" lift on my 04 Lariat SCAB. I've read the shocks aren't that great off-roading. I want to be able to hit holes without bouncing, and i don't want it to be stiff either. I want it to absorb the energy

I've heard Rancho's RS7000MT are great for mudding, strong for what you will use them for.

I have always liked Bilsteins, and they have a 4-6" shock for the front you could use to replace the RCX spacer
