Default Best off road shocks?

What do you guys consider the best shocks out there? Im lifted up 6 inches so they would have to be compatible with that but what do you guys consider top of the line, front and rear. I just got a 4000 dollar bonus slash pay out at work and i want to upgrade my suspension.

Thanks for the advice

I've heard mixed reviews on those. They seem to ride great new, but after that they wear down quickly.

Check out Icon Vehicle Dynamics.

I have ranchos RS9000Xl shocks with the remote reservoirs. They are really nice because they come with a remote to change the shock settings. It rides smooth on the street and you can change it up to hit the dirt or for towing. But for most people that would be going a little extreme.

Kings are GREAT! They will work with you to get you the settings you want and I feel their worth the money. As far as them wearing down quickly, I have not personally heard that, but I work more in the offroad area where they really do stand out. Which ever way you go, I suggest staying away from FOX.

I am also looking to replace the front and rear shocks, I was recommended the bilsteins but was wondering how you know which one will fit a 6 inch application that is already installed. Currently i have the pro comp 6 inch lift with the front spacer that still uses the factory spring and shock, I was wondering if anyone has heard of this and how much of a benefit i will get from removing that spacer and replacing it with the appropriate sized coil spring?
