i ask this because i plan on getting a set of rancho quicklift lift struts and springs for my 06 fx4 and was wondering if these will level the truck or
bring the nose up a little more than the rear, so needing to raise the back
an inch or so......

Can't answer your question about the shackles. Not a huge fan of them though.

For the money I'd do a block kit.

My 04 fx4 crew cab sat perfectly level with the rancho quicklifts with coils and 9000xl rear shocks. I just replaced my factory blocks with 2" blocks to give it just a little rake and so the rear wouldn't sag when loaded

Autospring. It's listed as a 2" rear lift kit for 2wd, but it's just a 2" block and longer U bolts and it fits on 4wd. Here's a pic of my truck with the rancho quicklift and 2" rear blocks with 33" trail grapplers.

Try using spell check first chief.

This 43 year old kid makes his living selling and installing suspension parts. 18 years of experience tells me to use blocks and not shackles.
