yep, sway bars are for pussies! I drive too fast though so I put on Currie on the front of mine. (and I have trouble keeping the rubber side down)

so while we are on the topic of flex, this independent suspension thins is kinda new to me. Coming from the solid axle/4 link world of the Jeep I'm trying to figure out what is the point of most of the lifts I've seen for F-150s. It seems most of them just lower the mounts for the control arms and such thus effectively lowing the suspension its self and raising the frame of the vehicle. I realize if you did not do this you would run in to too steep of angles on the control arms (that's why my Jeep has long arms).

So where I'm going with this say I did not want to run 37's (say 33s) and beat the ever loving **** out of my F-150 FX4 (that's what the Jeep is for) but I wanted to lift it slightly but increase the suspension travel/improve the dampening at high speeds running down wash board roads and powerline roads in the desert. How would I do this with out lowering suspension/drive-train components (say with drop brackets that seem ever so popular)? I have seen a few kits that I think are designed for this purpose (use a new longer travel coil over, rear shocks, and upper arm), however I am curious why they do not replace the lower are.

sorry I felt like I was being too contructive so I had to taint this post with a pic of the Jeep how it currently sits.

That is one sick Jeep Roughian98TJ. I really want those sliders on my Jeep. I can't wait till I get mine back in action since I rolled it last summer.

Anyways, it's not flex like the Jeeps or Raptors can put up but it's the best my truck can do at the moment.
