Hi I was wondering, as far as opinions go, what would be the best lift to go with?
As far as the best price vs. superiority type of thing.
I have a 2005 FX4 with a 2.5 inch level up front with 35's on it now and wanted to jack it up as much as possible within reason so I figured 6 more inches is the way to go-any opinions?
I have heard Fabtech was good but I really don't know much about anything of any of these lifts on these trucks.
Also approx. how many hours would it take to install by myself?

If you lift it, you're going to have to take your levelling kit out as most lifts automatically level the truck anyways so it'll sit weird if you don't.

BDS makes the best lift, it's the most expensive but every part is warrantied so if it breaks, they replace it. Period. You get what you pay for IMO

Just for reference. The first picture is My Truck with 35" tires and the 2.5" level kit. The second picture is My Truck with 35" tires on different wheels and a BDS 6" Lift kit .... I hope this gives you an idea of the difference
