Axle shaft boots tear after leveler kit install
Hi! I installed a 2.5" leveler kit on my 1999 F150 4X4. At the same time I also replaced upper & lower ball joints and both axle shafts. A few weeks later I noticed that the boots on the axle shafts had ripped on both sides (due to angle related to the leveler kit).
After exhausting research I have been unable to locate an aftermarket polyeurythane boot replacement kit (suggested fix) on the internet.
Was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem and if so what was the fix to correct the tearing of the boots without removing the leveler kit and returning to factory height.

I got a tear in my boot when I put my lift in not due to the lift but due to the style I used to install the axle shaft I "fixed" it using a tire patch i have been running it for about three months like this seems to work
