Default Anyone have any experience with Goodyear MTR's?

Unfortunately I can only have/afford 1set of tires for now.... And so to have a set of Mud tires that I can dd on the street and tow with the MTR's seem to be a good option..... But I want to ask you all how they preform on and off road.

Look into Fierce Attitude MT's.... I LOVE mine...Absolutly love them. I have the E-Rated, So they ride a bit rough for city folk, lol..... But i tow alot, And the towing killed all my other MT's... They last forever,And are the best tire i've seen hands down.

I don't have any experience personally with them but the game wardens around here use them on their trucks and from talking to one he loves them.

now I have the bfg Km2's on my f250 diesel in e range and tow and haul a 30 foot gooseneck with it and they do good, on road and off.

KM2's are very expensive.... Very good tire too and are another option I'm considering.

the MTRs were more expensive than the KM2's when I bought mine cause I debated between the two of them myself. they wasn't much more than the KM2's, but were.

I'm gonna be a little biased since I work for Goodyear/Fayetteville.I cook both of these tires ...MT's & Fierce everyday at my plant and have ran both.In sand without deflating they'll both dig you a nice hole,mud...both are excellent, highway( if memory serves well, the MT was a little quieter.Drawback....w/ Kevlar construction the MT is heavy & costly. If I were working the DOT lab today I could tell you exactly the difference in weight between them.Personally for a good all around I'd look at the Duratrac.....even Cooper STT,Toyo MT.
I actually started to buy another set of Fierce for my truck recently but settled on Dune Grapplers because I'm rarely in the mud anymore. My off-road days are mostly farm related or OBX related....surf fishing.

Well it seems that the MTR's would be a good tire if they lasted.

I have a set of the MTR's on my jeep. I love them but they are noticeably heavier than the BFG AT's I had. They're great tires, I have close to 8,000 miles on them and the wear is very good, mostly all gravel and offroad. The driver side ball joints have been bad since install and there is slightly more wear but for 8,000 miles I'm very very happy.

Yea but on a F-150 on paved roads, I think they will wear kinda quick. Plus I do pull a 5,500 lb trailer a couple times a year.
