Amber Fog lights vs. Normal?
Hey guys, looking to get some LED Duallys to replace fog lights and I keep seeing people replacing theirs with Amber or yellow lights. What's the difference between the amber and the normal white? Thanks!

Only the color is different, so get whichever you think looks better.
Some people say that the yellow light penetrates the fog farther and helps you see better but from what I've read that's not true because the water droplets are so big they reflect all colors of light.

I prefer the amber. I replaced the stock bulbs in my fogs with PIAA ion bulbs. Plus I have a set of PIAA 2100i ion long range foul weather driving lights. I like the amber better because it is less reflective, to me, than the white. Last year I put a set of the Rigid Dually D2 driving lights in amber on my Polaris Ranger HD on the front brush guard, and a set of the Dually spot lights on top of the cab. I love the spot lights. The D2's did what I needed them for, they really cut thru the fog and mist when I travel around on my property in WV.. But they didn't have very good distance, which really didn't matter that much because I was putting along. Hope that helps a little.....
