Default Advice On Lifting Ecoboost

I have an 11 F150 Ecoboost and I am considering lifting it.
I have decided I want the rough country 4 inch lift system.
I was planning on keeping the stock 18 inch fx4 style rims on it and throwing on some sort of off road tire.(not sure which brand or size i want).
So now for my questions.....
Will i need to do any gearing work (it currently has 3.73 gears)?
What is better 33 or 35 inch tire?
Is the rough country a good decision?
About how much will the kit install cost?
Finally one of my biggest concerns Gas Mileage-What will it be?
Thanks for your input.
Also If you have any pics of a ecoboost with a 4 inch lift please post them.

You should be able to keep the same gears... i have an 06 with a 6 inch and 35's and i have 3.73. You def lose some power and mpg's but thats just the way it goes... i get about 11 in the city right now, it is a truck after all you dont get one for the mpg's. Rough country is a good lift and id go with 35's, would look better imo. id say labor alone might cost around $400...?

btw there is a lot of threads on all the stuff you asked for if you search for it, just fyi you might get blasted for it no biggie though... Good luck!

I have already compensated for power loss by adding a hearthrob exhaust kit +40 hp then a cold air intake +30hp. So im guessing 70 hp would be more than enough to compensate for a 4 inch lift?

Just being honest bud but don't always believe manufacturers claims. No way an intake and cat back exhaust netted 70 horses. Even a tune which is by far the biggest responder to the ecoboost doesn't get that high although close

I'll be honest too. If one of your biggest concerns is mpg, don't lift it at all. Once you lift combined with the bigger tires your mpg will drop like a rock. The EB has plenty of power to overcome the bigger tires though. Also, you better double check that lift, I think you have to run at least 20's due to how the knuckle is designed. I not against lifting a truck, I've had a few myself.
