Adding a Block to the rear...
I currently have a 3" tuff country lift, in the front is a 1" preload spacer and a 2" coilover spacer, with a new upper control arm. The rear is a 3" block to replace the 1" block. Can I replace the 3" block with a 4" or 5" block? and at what point do I need to replace the rear shocks for the higher stance? thanks all.

i believe a raptor block is 3" which is pretty tall. 4 or 5 is going to look goofy. it will be debated but anything over an extra inch and you will start to lose travel in the shock. id imagine 4" over stock and you wont have much left. i know my fox shocks say they are good for lifts between 0" and 1". not to mention you may be looking at some drive live vibrations from that much lift.
why not just buy a properly engineered 4" or 6" lift if you want to go that high?

Because a $50 set of blocks is a lot cheaper and less work than a $1500 lift lol. It wouldn't look weird I don't think because right now the front end is a half inch higher than the rear, so another inch would be the rear half an inch higher than the front.
I would have no problem with buying new shocks, but would I need anything else with a 4" block? I know the 6" lifts have a driveline extension or something, would I need that or would a 4" block and new shocks be ok?

3" lift in front and doesn't have any factory lift block with 800 pounds of wood in the bed. 35x12.5R18. Factory FX4 18s. No scrub, went down power line trails and whatnot to pick em up.
