awesome, do you know where the ranger station is located? is your truck stock, what kinda tires? i only ask cause there is a a lot of sugar fine sand. you will definatly want to drop tire pressure and have a way to fill it back up but otherwise stock will normally be fine.

you should be fine with those tires, some of the trails are a little more narrow so just a heads up you may get scratched if youre not paying attention while youre driving there. its not horrible bad so dont think i am trying to talk you out of this just want you to be aware since youve never been in the pines. its a fun place to wheel as long as your responsible and tread lightly

ive been in the pine 100's of times, never been to the cleanup every time the cleanup comes my trucks break down, i would bring standard off roading gear- shovel, tow straps, chains, spare tools or a tool kit. i would also invest in a pair of mechanics gloves from pepgirls i mean boys lol.just in case there is trash the needs to be picked up thats sharp metal or something.i would not brin ga chainsaw.... rangers might not like that.. always wanna protect yourself. i am sure even if you bring nothing but your truck and the keys to run it youll be fine. everyone i have every roaded with in the pines is always there to help out and with the large amount of people going sunday i am sure every group will have whatever they need. i would either bring ipod or a friend with you too helps the ride seem more fun then sitting in silence by yourself lol
